Professional Experience:

Student, UX Design Bootcamp, General Assembly
March 2024 - June 2024
Finished General Assembly's UX Design Bootcamp, a 3-month full-time intensive program that had me complete 4 projects (including one for an actual client). This journey taught me about the entire UX design process, ranging from user research and project planning to persona creation, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. I got much better at defining users, user research, information organization and high-level flows. I enhanced my communication and project management skills, delivering user-centered solutions that effectively address real-world problems.

Projects: (1) KidSie transition to an E-commerce website (Client project)
In this KiDSiE client project, In 3 weeks, our team of 4 transitioned the platform from a secondhand marketplace for kids' products to an e-commerce site selling end-of-line, returned, and ex-display children’s items. This project focused on improving the shopping experience for parents, ensuring trustworthiness, and maintaining product quality.
Process Outline:
User Research:
Conducted user interviews with parents and usability testing with KiDSiE users.
Identified pain points and user needs from feedback analysis.
Information Architecture:
Created a site map for improved navigation and categorization.
Used card sorting with Optimal Workshop for better organization.
Wireframing:
Developed low-fidelity wireframes emphasizing clear product information, trust signals, and user-friendly navigation.
Prototyping:
Created high-fidelity prototypes with detailed visuals and interactive elements.
Enhanced features based on client feedback, including advanced filters and visual deal indicators.
Usability Testing:
Conducted iterative testing to refine designs.
Ensured the final design addressed all pain points and user requirements.

Project: (2) The Moleskine Notebook:
In just 2 weeks, our team of 3 redesigned Moleskine's smart notebooks as Moleskine Colab, adding social networking features. Using design thinking, we conducted user research, defined the problem of secure and engaging sharing, brainstormed features, created prototypes, and tested them. Our goal was to create a platform for users to share their work and connect with a like-minded community, preserving Moleskine's creative heritage.

Project: (3) Redesigning a website:
A solo project within 2 weeks of time to redesign a local shop and I selected to redesigned Stoby’s Fish & Chips website to enhance user experience by gathering insights into user preferences, behavior, and pain points. Focused on creating a user-friendly, intuitive, and engaging platform that boosts customer satisfaction and repeat visits. Focused on the homepage to improved visual elements like layout, imagery, typography, and responsiveness to effectively communicate the brand identity and capture users' attention.
Project: (4) Redesigning a cooking app:
For my first project at General Assembly, I redesigned TOQUE, a cooking app for novice cooks. The goal was to introduce recipe-saving and customization features, add cooking tutorials, and improve user retention. Through user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing, I enhanced the app's user-friendly interface and engagement.
